More fishing villages - Day 12

After a quality meal in the areas best restaurant "Austell's"  last night we bid farewell to our host Jacky this morning. She was very helpful and friendly during our stay and even did our washing!
Our first targets were for Gail to see two more fishing villages on the north coast in Padstow of Rick Stein fame and Port Issac of Doc Martin fame.
The weather was its usual mixed bag but we managed a walk in both places, seeing Ricks Cafe and the Doc's house amongst the usual throng of people. Moving on for somewhere quieter for lunch, we settled on Boscastle ( yes, another picturesque fishing village).
Then the big drive to Somerset and our night at the Rock Inn. It was here that we stayed 37 years ago when we happened upon it accidentally escaping the fog on the M5. Not a lot changed in that time or the last 400 years since it was built. We had a nice meal here back then, but the food has certainly stepped up - not surprising to see lots of locals in the restaurant.
