To Hollow Bottom - Day 13

After another English breakfast we departed the Rock Inn for the drive to the Cotswolds. Having this sort of breakfast is a rare treat at home, but it has meant that we don't get hungry until the afternoon.
The drive was mostly on the M5 and traffic was heavy the whole way. We stopped first at Cheltenham to check out a camera shop for a lens for my camera. The bad news was my lens was beyond repair, but the good news was they had a second hand genuine one for a good price - an early Fathers Day present from Gail.
After a stroll around the nice town, we set off for Bourton-on-the-Water for lunch. Many families out for a stroll as well and had a late lunch at the Duke of Wellington while watching a bit of England v Ireland in Rugby.
On then to our home The Hollow Bottom Inn in the small village of Guiting Power. Nice Scottish owners  and a comfy room gives a good feel. Just hope the pub is not too busy at night.
Did the full tour of our village which took a few minutes. Very typical Cotswold stone houses. We're looking forward to a less hectic time here.

Home for the next four nights
