Lucky we got the jump on the thousands arriving in the last days of the school holidays as the lines built quickly. Well worth the visit, but the crowds of families meant that we just took a taster and moved on to the Victoria and Albert next door.
Gail was keen to see the quilts that she had heard about, but was disappointed that these were no longer showing. Still had plenty to take our interest for a couple of hours.
Took the tube to Covent garden for a nice lunch in the White Lion and a look at the buskers before buying tickets to a musical. Chose the "Jersey Boys" at Piccadilly and after a little rest headed back in for the show.
Terrific performance by the boys and great entertainment. Very impressed by the amount of songs that Frankiie Valli and Bob Gordio were associated with. Outside, the whole of Covent Garden was filled with people leaving shows or going to pubs and bars.
Managed to tick off a few must do's today.
